Capabilities include Machining, Assembly, Inspection & Control, Integrated Logistics, Processing & Finishing, Sheet Metal & Fabrication, Speed Shop, Engineering. They are looking for a Group Technical Quality Engineer to add to the team.Group Technical Quality EngineerPermanentGBP50,000 per annumMonday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:00, Friday 07:30 - 12:30Hybrid/Remote/Site BasedGroup Technical Quality EngineerJob DescriptionAct as internal focal point of contact, and support the central quality teams (group) as well as sites, in an expert role for escalated technical questions, queries and issues (within the assigned scope)Support all sites with specialist knowledge on deployment of APQP deliverables, and support identification and deployment of APQP training to all group sites.Work closely with manufacturing engineering to continuously improve planning and inspection processes to share, embed and flow down best practices across the groupSupport activities within the group (and across the sites) to maintain NADCAP and (customer) process approvals, including supporting site teams with NADCAP preparation auditsConduct internal process audits to support identification of improvement areasSupport with the effective implementation of corrective and continuous improvement actionsSupport all ToW and NPI projects in the area of expertiseSupport the inspection team with technical queries and standardised approach.Group Technical Quality EngineerEssential Experience/Skills/QualificationsQuality or Manufacturing Engineering Professional with extensive experience in a similar roleExperience in deployment of APQP deliverablesWorking knowledge of international standards for quality management systems (AS9100, ISO9001)Highly proficient in reading, understanding and applying technical documentation such as drawings, technical specifications, standards etc.Experience in manufacturing processes for sheet metal and machined components, including surface treatment processesProficient in developing and improving planning (routing) and supporting documentation.Experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably AerospaceStrong knowledge of problem analysis methodologies & working experience with ERP systems.Group Technical Quality EngineerCompany BenefitsHybrid WorkingCompany pension scheme25 days annual leave + 8 statutory holidays, Christmas shutdownBUPA HealthcareDeath in Service benefitIf you feel you're a good fit for this position, please click 'apply'
