Electronics/Embedded Design Engineer - Fully Remote
Redline has been retained by a global leader in power electronics solutions who are looking for an Electronics/Embedded Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team, based in Leicester(fully remote with occasional office visits).
Due to skills shortages and expansion, my client are seeking an Electronics/Embedded Design Engineer to play a key role in the design and development of large-scale power systems, including Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Static Var Compensators and Variable Speed Drives.
Responsibilities for this Electronics/Embedded Design Engineer - Fully Remote job are:
Design, develop and manufacture analogue and digital electronic circuitsDiagnose, troubleshoot, commission and test electronic devices and equipmentDevelop embedded firmware and software for microcontrollers and processorsWork on UPS systems primarily, with occasional work on static compensators and variable speed drivesPCB layout and prototypingCollaborate with a small engineering team in the UK and the US
Key skills and experience for Electronics/Embedded Design Engineer - Fully Remote job are:
Proven experience in analogue and digital circuit design at a high levelEmbedded programming using C or C++(self-sufficient across multiple software files)PCB Layout and developmentRobust experience in an Electronics Design roleExperience with embedded firmware for microcontrollers and processorsExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
