Job Title: Electrical Fitter

Location: Gloucester

Pay Range/details: Up to GBP35,000 per annum + excellent benefits

Contract Type: Permanent Day shift

A great opportunity for a skilled Electrical Fitter to join a highly regarded, people–focused manufacturing business in Gloucester. The successful candidate for the role of Electrical Fitter will work as part of a team in order to correctly wire electrical assemblies on bespoke machinery according to the engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities Electrical Fitter

Read and understand electrical drawingsSecure and fix cables, looms, switches and other electric devices to machine assembliesFabrication and fixing of cable tray, trunking and conduitAssembly of electrical wiring looms to drawingsUse electrical measuring equipment where necessaryDrilling and tapping of components when necessaryUse pillar drills, and hand tools where necessaryAble to complete soldered connections to electrical drawingsComplete electrical panel terminations to electrical drawingsAssembly of electrical termination boxes, plugs and other electrical components to drawings Qualifications & Requirements Electrical Fitter

Previous electrical experience in panel wiring and wiring industrial machines, qualifications are desirable but not essential.Proven ability to read and interpret electrical drawingsSkilled problem solver who looks for best solution to ensure highest quality productsSelf–motivated with desire to improve working practicesProven team player What we can offer Electrical Fitter
