Contract Electrical Designer
Rate: GBP30 GBP35 per hour
Start: Immediate
Type: Contract
Length: 6 months
IR35: Outside
Hybrid: Yes
Location: Peterborough
We are looking for a Contract Electrical Designer to support the design and delivery of bespoke control panels and electrical systems. You will be responsible for full lifecycle electrical design, from schematics and AutoCAD Electrical drawings through to quotations, project management, and occasional site visits.
Key requirements:
Strong AutoCAD Electrical experience (essential)Proven experience in control panel design and electrical schematicsAbility to produce general arrangements, wiring diagrams, and BOMsExperience managing project-led work and quotationsComfortable with site visits and responding to on-site issues as neededPrevious work as an Electrical Designer in industrial or engineering sectorsMultiskilled and flexible, able to work in a fast-paced project environmentThis is an immediate requirement for a contractor offering GBP30 GBP35 per hour, depending on experience.
