Responsibilities of the role:

Set and operate Sliding Head CNC machines using setup sheets and tooling to achieve precise tolerances.Maintain tooling, replacing inserts and drills as needed, and recommending improvements where possible.Inspect components to strict quality standards using appropriate measuring tools and record outputs accurately.Follow work orders to ensure efficient, consistent production flow.Keep safety and quality first, always working to EHS guidelines and supporting 5S and lean principles.

Skills required:

Previous experience operating CNC machinesConfident in reading engineering drawings and machining to tight tolerancesAwareness of quality control and safety proceduresExperience with Sliding Head CNC machines is desirable - training will be provided if you're new to itFamiliarity with Fanuc controls or similar CNC systems is a plus
