CNC Service Engineer – Woodcutting Machinery

UK–wide travel 40,000– 45,000 + company vehicle

We are working in partnership with a leading provider of CNC woodcutting and woodworking machinery to recruit an experienced CNC Service Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well–established and growing business that supports customers across the joinery, furniture, and timber processing sectors.

The Role:

As a CNC Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of advanced CNC woodcutting machinery at customer sites across the UK. You will provide first–class technical support, ensuring minimal downtime and excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation, commissioning and servicing of CNC woodcutting equipment.

Diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical and software faults.

Carrying out preventative maintenance to maximise machine performance and reliability.

Providing technical support and training to customers.

Producing service reports and maintaining accurate records.

Representing the company professionally on–site at all times.

About You:

Proven experience working with CNC machinery, ideally within woodworking or timber processing.

Strong electrical and mechanical fault–finding skills.

Knowledge of PLC systems and control panels is highly desirable.

Comfortable with UK–wide travel and occasional overnight stays.

A customer–focused mindset with excellent communication skills.

The Package:

Salary 40,000– 45,000 depending on experience.
