As a CNC Programmer, you will benefit from: A 4-day working week, Monday to ThursdayPermanent night shift (8:30pm 7:00am)Death in service benefitCompany pension schemeAutonomy to manage programming, setting, and operating tasks from start to finishWorking with advanced Mazak CNC turning centres and cutting-edge technologyOpportunities to develop your skills in continuous improvement and lean manufacturingA supportive environment that values precision, quality, and craftsmanship As a CNC Programmer, your responsibilities will include: Programming Mazak CNC lathes using Mazatrol and ISO G-codeSetting and proving out jobs on Mazak Quick Turn, Nexus, Smooth, or Integrex machinesRunning CNC turning operations to produce precision components within tight tolerancesPerforming first-off and in-process inspections using micrometers, verniers, and gaugesMaintaining a safe and organised work area in line with 5S standards As a CNC Programmer, your experience will include: 3 5+ years CNC turning experience with proven ability to program, set, and operate Mazak machinesStrong knowledge of Mazatrol and/or Smooth controls, plus ISO G-code editingAbility to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and GD&TUnderstanding of cutting speeds, feeds, and tool geometry for various materialsA proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining quality standards If you're ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.
