They are seeking a motivated Rating Surveyor to join their business rates team, providing specialist advice to major investor and occupier clients. Key Responsibilities
Deliver bespoke rates appeal and mitigation advice to investor and occupier clients.Manage your own client base and caseload, taking on increasing responsibility as you progress.Build and maintain strong business relationships with both new and existing clients.Provide rating advice to developer and landlord clients across all stages of the development cycle.Assist with the preparation of Valuation Tribunal documentation and casework.Collaborate with colleagues across complementary service lines to maximise opportunities. Key Requirements
Strong knowledge of the UK property market and rating legislation.MRICS qualification with proven experience in providing rating advice and negotiating appeals.Skilled in surveying and inspection, with excellent attention to detail.Commercially astute with an entrepreneurial approach to business development.Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle a varied caseload.Confident IT user; familiarity with rating software such as Riverlake and Analyse is advantageous.
