Salary: £30k - £37k

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a market leading electronics manufacturer as they look to expand their production teams across a number of areas. Operating in industries such as Aerospace, Defence and Medical, our client offers high-quality, high-reliability PCB electronic assembly, manufacturing and custom box-build solutions.

Due to growth across the business, our client is looking for an SMT Operator to join their team. As an SMT Operator you will be responsible for assisting with the running of SMT lines and AOI machines, operating and profiling reflow machines and general housekeeping of production area

Responsibilities of SMT Operator

* Running of SMT lines and AOI machine

* Correct and safe use of all production equipment

* SMT Hand Soldering

* Production and assembly of electronic assemblies

Requirements of SMT Operator

* Previous experience as an SMT Operator

* IPC 610 or IPC J STD 001 experience desired but not essential xjnqpsq

* Ability to solder SMT components by hand

* Experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment

* Knowledge and understanding of safe working practices including ESD

Remuneration

* £30k £36k

* 20 days annual leave + bank holiday + Christmas shut down

* Company pension and sick leave allowance
