Position: EC&I Technician (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Technician)

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £35-40k DOE

Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation Technician required for a pharmaceutical manufacturer based in the Liverpool area. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Assembly team as an EC&I Technician. The primary purpose of the role is to work on a project from control engineering handover, through to Factory Acceptance Testing. The role also offers the opportunity to travel globally to client's sites to complete Installation and qualification of equipment at client sites.

EC&I Technician Position Overview

Building & assembly of control systems, including field wiring of safe and local areas panels.

Support external suppliers in the building of control panels to ensure the standards required are met.

Perform Pre FAT's and FAT's (Factory Acceptance Testing) acting as a point of contact for customers whilst on site in relation to electrical / control aspects of a project.

To Co-ordinate with Control Engineers on the assembly of control systems, from design through to build stage.

To support the relevant engineering departments with software and process updates. (Siemens)

Issue all marked up drawings and parts lists to the control engineer assigned to the project.

Attend client facilities for electrical re-connection, Installation, IQ / OQ tasks and training on equipment as required.

Assist the service team when required at customer facilities to carry out planned or unplanned maintenance on equipment.EC&I Technician Position Requirements

Time served apprenticeship or equivalent experience.

HNC or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering.

Previous experience in a similar role.

Excellent communication skills both verbally and electronically.

Analytical & Problem Solving skills.

Good knowledge of electrical regulations.

Proficient in reading and understanding electrical drawings.

Excellent customer service skills.

Salary dependent on experience £37k-£43k

Off-site allowance (opportunity to travel globally)

4 day week (Monday to Thursday)
