Description
Quotation Executive - Oldbury | £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (30-minute lunch)
Bonus: Quarterly company-wide bonus (at client’s discretion)

About the Company
Our client is a well-established and growing business within the electrical industry, known for delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Quotation Executive to join their professional and friendly team in Oldbury.
The Role
As a Quotation Executive, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotations, liaising directly with customers to understand their project requirements, and confidently negotiating pricing to achieve company targets.
This is a fast-paced and varied role where attention to detail, communication skills, and confidence are key. You’ll be the link between customers and internal departments, ensuring every quotation opportunity is followed up and converted wherever possible.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and professional quotations for customers

Communicate with customers to fully understand project requirements
*
Negotiate and discuss pricing confidently to achieve sales targets
*
Proactively chase outstanding quotations and follow up on potential leads
*
Maintain detailed and accurate records in the quotation database
*
Handle incoming quotation-related calls and emails
*
Liaise with Production, Warehouse, and Transport teams
*
Understand and promote company products and services
Requirements
*
Previous experience in a quotation, estimating, or internal sales role
*
Experience within the electrical industry (advantageous but not essential)
*
Excellent communication and customer service skills
*
Strong organisational and administration skills
*
Confident negotiation and closing skills
*
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
*
Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
