Electronics Test Engineer - Glamorgan - up to £40,000 + Benefits - Ref 1967

I am currently recruiting for an Electronics Test Engineer to work for a cutting-edge technology company based in Glamorgan. Salary up to £40,000 + Benefits.

The organisation has been in operation for many years and are worldwide leaders within the design, development, and manufacture of their highly intelligent products. As a business they turnover a significant amount of money, employ hundreds of people across various disciplines and are constantly evolving their legacy products as well as designing and developing new innovative products to bring to market.

In line with demand for their products and to support the business with their growth plans they have the need to appoint an Electronics Test Engineer on a permanent basis.

In this role as an Electronics Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing, fault finding and troubleshooting customer returned products. This will be down to component level and will have you being involved with PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) and capacitors that are typically soldered. Types of testing could include lifecycle testing, drop testing, vibration testing and environmental testing. You will be required to write the necessary reports to support the tests and findings.

Essential Requirements:

Experience as an Electronics Test Engineer, Electronics Technician, Quality Engineer, Quality Technician or similar

At least 2 years commercial experience

Minimum HNC in Electronics

Experience testing, fault finding and troubleshooting electronics down to component levelDesirable Requirements:

Experience dealing with customer returns /warranty claims
