My client is looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can represent the business professionally in customers’ homes, and enjoys the satisfaction of installing premium products to an exceptional standard.

The Role

As an Electrical Appliance Installer, you’ll be travelling across Somerset delivering and installing high end electrical appliances in customers’ homes. You don’t need to be a qualified electrician, what matters is that you’re customer focused and not only can install the products but demonstrate them to the customer. If you have a customer mind set, are practically skilled, confident with tools, safety-minded, and have a genuine interest in electrics this is the role for you! Full product and installation training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Delivery

* Install and connect high end electrical appliances in customers’ homes (full training provided).

* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with manufacturer guidance.

* Be part of and support the delivery team with safe handling and positioning of appliances.

* Carry out site checks to confirm access and installation readiness.

Customer Service

* Represent the brand professionally in customers’ homes.

* Provide clear, friendly guidance on appliance use and care.

* Ensure every customer receives a smooth, positive installation experience.

Teamwork & Communication

* Work closely with the Operations Manager and Co-ordinator to plan daily schedules.

* Report progress, issues, or delays promptly.

* Build strong working relationships with warehouse, service, and sales colleagues.

Health & Safety

* Follow all company and industry safety standards.

* Identify and report any on-site risks or hazards.

Equipment & Records

* Keep installation notes updated on the CRM system.

* Look after company tools, equipment, and vehicles.

Experience & Background

* Experience installing electrical appliances is helpful but not essential.

* A natural interest in electrics and practical problem-solving is important.

* Experience working in a customer-facing or home-visit role is beneficial.

* Able to work independently and as part of a team.

* Physically fit and comfortable handling heavy appliances.

* Full UK driving licence.
