This 2015 1299 Panigale S has covered just 5833 miles from new with 4 owners and was featured on Supercar Megabuild in the McLaren P1 Hyperbike episode where the bike was built with the aim of taking on the McLaren P1

Nearly £16000 was spent on parts alone during the build with invoices included to document the work and components fitted

The changes to the bike are extensive with full carbon fibre fairings a carbon fibre fuel tank carbon wheels and further carbon fibre components fitted throughout The exposed carbon completely changes the appearance of the Panigale and gives the bike a much more purposeful look than a standard 1299

It is also fitted with a full Akrapovic exhaust system with the exposed pipework and underbelly silencer working particularly well with the carbon bodywork CNC Racing RPS adjustable footrests are also fitted along with a number of other upgraded and weight saving components

Underneath all of the modifications is already a very special bike Being the Panigale S it comes with premium Ohlins suspension and Brembo braking equipment along with Ducatis 1285cc Superquadro L twin engine The standard 1299S is already an extremely quick bike so it made a serious starting point for a project designed around challenging a hypercar
