Description
Hi! My name is Ioanna and I am a guitar player and singer looking for a drummer to start a new band/project. I have been in several bands before but have taken a break the past few years due to other commitments. With my previous band Bleach Body, we played a good amount of Manchester Venues as well as Liverpool and Chester.
What I am looking for is a drummer who can commit to weekly practices and also become a founding member of the band, not just someone who comes in to play the drums, but someone who would like to leave their very own, authentic signature.
My influences range mainly from punk + rock ( see Fugazi, Pixies, Deftones, PJ Harvey and more) but for this band I am looking for a heavier sound, something along the lines of Chelsea Wolfe and Deftones but with a punk element somewhere too. There are about 5-6 songs in the works currently.
I live in Todmorden but work in Manchester so if you're up to it we could work out a date to jam and see how we feel.
