Job Title: Workshop Controller

Location: Hyde

Salary: £35,000

Hours: Monday to Friday 7am-5pm or 8am-6pm, 1 in 2 Saturday mornings

Join Our Team as a Workshop Controller

We are looking for a proactive and organised individual to support the Depot Manager in running an efficient, customer-focused, and profitable workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administration and planning skills who enjoys working in a busy environment and liaising with both customers and technicians. You will be based out of a brand new purpose built workshop that opens in October 2025

Key Responsibilities of the Workshop Controller

Raise job cards, estimates, and invoices while keeping all job statuses updated accurately and on time.

Plan and schedule workshop workloads to ensure customer requirements are met.

Maintain service schedules for all customers and provide updates, approvals, and completion details.

Liaise closely with the workshop team to monitor times booked, order parts, and ensure everything is ready for each job.

Process purchase orders and support with general workshop administration.

Ensure site standards are upheld – including tidiness, equipment maintenance, and security.

Promote and maintain Health & Safety practices across the depot.

Provide support to the Depot Manager with any additional reasonable duties. xjnqpsq Experience required for the Workshop Controller

Previous experience within this role or similar within a commercial vehicle workshop environment

Good technical knowledge of HGV’s
