Service Technician – Join Our Expert Team

We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Technician to carry out inspections, servicing, repairs, and testing of vehicles to manufacturer standards. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys diagnosing faults, working efficiently, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose vehicle faults and interpret repair instructions and technical data

• Plan work effectively and order necessary parts to minimise turnaround time

• Carry out servicing and repairs using appropriate vehicle protection and resources

• Liaise with the Workshop Supervisor/Controller on specialist tasks

• Accurately report faults and completed work for service reception reference

• Follow health and safety procedures, including use of protective clothing and equipment

• Keep tools, equipment, and workspaces clean and safe

• Adhere to warranty procedures and accurate time clocking

• Support and supervise Apprentices, ensuring quality control of their work

• Return exchanged parts to the Parts department

• Conduct MOT testing and complete required documentation

• Recover vehicles as instructed by the Supervisor

• Stay up to date with technical developments through training

• Maintain high standards of dress, attitude, honesty, and customer care

• Comply with all company policies and procedures

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in vehicle servicing and diagnostics

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Ability to work efficiently and communicate clearly

• A proactive approach to learning and development

• MOT testing qualification (preferred but not essential)
