Our client in Exeter, Devon is actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Advisor to join their reputable automotive team. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in automotive parts sales, who wish to develop their career within a well-established company in the motor trade industry. The Parts Advisor role
offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment focused on customer satisfaction.
Benefits for the successful Parts Advisor:
Competitive salary of approximately £30,000 per annum
Standard working hours from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday
One in seven Saturdays morning work with overtime opportunities
Ongoing training and development to enhance your motor trade knowledge
Supportive team environment that values good communication skills and lively personalities
Opportunity for career progression within the companyDuties of the Parts Advisor:
Delivering expert parts sales advice to customers, ensuring excellent service standards
Assisting with warehouse duties and stock management
Handling parts for trucks, trailers, and general consumables
Managing customer relationships, resolving queries, and upselling where appropriate
Maintaining accurate records of sales and stock movements
Engaging actively with colleagues to foster a team-oriented workplace
Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures in the parts departmentRequirements:
Proven experience or knowledge in auto parts sales or engine and vehicle parts
Strong computer skills for stock control and order management
A clean, valid UK driving licence
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Customer-focused approach with the ability to build rapport quickly
Open to training and committed to ongoing professional development
