Regional Automotive/Motor Engineer – Living in the Stirling, Falkirk, Perth & Kinross, Fife, Edinburgh Areas.

Our client represents numerous major manufacturers, and they are looking to appoint a Regional Motor Engineer to assess, report and evaluate Warranty and Repair work undertaken to cover the North East Scotland region as specified above.

The region covers a wide area in the East Scotland area, therefore you would need to live near or within these areas.

The role will be to provide effective claims assessments by conducting on site and remote vehicle inspections, audits within the designated region.

This is an ideal position for a Vehicle technician, who is main dealership trained and presently/previously a master/senior technician OR service manager/workshop controller who would like to move out of the main dealer environment & into a consultancy/advisory role. Level 3 NVQ or Equivalent is essential along with a full UK Drivers Licence.

Based from home, you will manage your own diary and appointments. Good basic salary of £38k-£40k+ depending on experience, co-car, laptop etc is included, plus other benefits associated with a large organisation.

Responsibilities

* Conduct mechanical assessments and troubleshoot issues

* Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve engineering problems.

* Design and implement system solutions

* Collaborate with clients to ensure project specifications are met.

* Maintain accurate documentation of engineering processes and results. xjnqpsq

* Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a valid driving licence for site visits.
