We are recruiting an Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester on behalf of our client, an independent garage located in Paignton, Devon. This is an outstanding opportunity for experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Testers to join a reputable, family-owned business committed to delivering high standards of service and supporting staff development.

Variety of duties including diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and MOT testing in a modern workshopDuties:

Conduct MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards as an Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester

Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles

Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently as an Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester

Complete accurate documentation and maintain detailed service records

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Work independently or alongside team members as required in the role of Vehicle Technician / MOT TesterRequirements:

Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

Valid MOT licence (preferred but not essential)

Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester in a workshop environment

Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills necessary for a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester role

Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify and rectify faults

Capable of working efficiently, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality work
