Rate: Up to 22ph (DOE)

Shifts: Flexible on shift pattern - No night shift available

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Flexible onthe number of hours someone wants per week

We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a well-run workshop in Warrington. This is a permanent role offering genuine flexibility around shift patterns and weekly hours, with no night work. Whether you’re looking for Monday–Friday days, a 4 on / 4 off pattern, or something similar, this can be discussed.

The Workshop

You’ll be working in a clean, well-equipped environment with the right tools to do the job properly, including 4 bay workshop, 2 full-length pits and 1 half pit, and brake rollers.

Job Description

The role will involve carrying out a range of work on HGVs and trailers, including vehicle inspections, servicing and repairs, MOT preparation and defect rectification, mechanical and electrical fault finding, working on all trailer types including curtain siders and transport trailers, working across major HGV brands such as Mercedes, Scania, Renault and MAN, and completing job cards to DVSA standards.

What’s on Offer

Up to £22 per hour, depending on experience, with overtime paid at time and a half. Flexible shift patterns and hours, and no night shifts.

Training & Development

Ongoing training is available, including IRTEC, forklift, abrasive wheel, and additional courses as required.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience as an HGV Technician, confident carrying out inspections, repairs and MOT prep, reliable, hands-on and able to work independently or as part of a team.
