Vehicle Collection Driver Class 1Location: Chipping Warden, Banbury Salary: Competitive basic + daily bonus + paid overtimeAre you an experienced Class 1 HGV driver looking for a fresh challenge? Do you have experience with vehicle recovery or car transporters? Join IAA and take the next step in your driving career with a role that offers excellent earning potential, great benefits, and a supportive team environment.The Role:As a Vehicle Collection Driver Class 1, you’ll be responsible for collecting accident damaged vehicles from various customer and client locations. Using specially designed salvage/recovery trucks and a vehicle winch when required, you’ll ensure safe and compliant loading, securing and unloading of vehicles at all times.You’ll also accurately measure and record vehicle heights before each journey, ensuring full compliance with height, weight, and road safety regulations.A potential salary expectation (based on an average of 7 vehicle collections per day for which a bonus is paid), would be in the region of £51,000 per annum. In addition, £30 is payable per night for each overnight stay.Key Responsibilities:

Collect allocated vehicles from client and customer locations

Load, secure and unload vehicles safely

Follow all legal and company driving regulations

Accurately measure and record vehicle heights before every journey

Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues

Maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and customer serviceWhat You’ll Need:

Valid Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence

Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience

Previous recovery or car transporter experience is advantageous (full training provided)

Strong communication and customer service skills

Safety-first mindset with excellent attention to detail

Self-motivated, organised, and reliableWhat We Offer:
