Role: Travelling Lady's Maid / Housekeeper

Days: 5 days per week

Hours: Flexibility required in line with the Principal's schedule

Salary: £65,000-£80,000 gross per annum (depending on experience)

Accommodation: Live-out when in London

Benefits: All travel expenses covered (travel, insurance, food etc), Medical insurance (after 1 year of employment), Meals provided & access to a staff kitchen for refreshments

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced, polished and discreet Lady's Maid / Housekeeper to support a UHNW female Principal based in Mayfair, with frequent international travel

Working as part of an established household team, you will take full responsibility for the Principal's private living areas, wardrobe management and personal organisation, ensuring every aspect of her day-to-day life runs seamlessly. This is a varied, hands-on role requiring exceptional attention to detail, flexibility and a proactive approach

The successful candidate will accompany the Principal on domestic and international travel throughout the year, ensuring luggage, wardrobes and private spaces are impeccably maintained wherever the Principal is in residence. The ideal candidate will be professional, discreet, organised and highly service-orientated, with excellent, checkable private household references

Duties include:

Full wardrobe management, including organisation, seasonal rotation and inventory management.
Luxury garment care, laundry, ironing and specialist fabric care.
Packing and unpacking for frequent domestic and international travel.
Preparing clothing, footwear, accessories and luggage for daily engagements and events.
Maintaining exceptional standards throughout the Principal's bedroom suites, dressing rooms, bathrooms and private living areas.
Monitoring and replenishing personal supplies, toiletries and wardrobe items.
Accompanying the Principal on international travel and ensuring residences and hotel accommodation are perfectly prepared.
Working collaboratively with the wider household team.
Anticipating the Principal's needs with discretion, professionalism and efficiency.
Maintaining absolute confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Lady's Maid, Senior Housekeeper or in a similar role within a private household.
Exceptional wardrobe management, garment care skills and housekeeping standards
Previous experience travelling with a Principal is highly advantageous
Legal right to work in the UK. Valid passport and ability to travel internationally without restriction
Able to commute easily to Mayfair when the Principal is in London
Comfortable using iPhone, WhatsApp and other everyday technology
Flexible to work evenings, weekends and travel at short notice when required
