Days/Hours: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, from 9am-3pm

A welcoming family in Hadley Wood are looking for an experienced part time housekeeper to assist with the day-to-day upkeep of their home. This is a long-term position suited to someone who is organised, self-motivated and takes genuine pride in maintaining a beautifully presented household. The family are looking for a candidate who can work efficiently, use their initiative and become a trusted part of the home.

The successful candidate should have previous experience working in a private household, excellent attention to detail and a positive, flexible attitude. Applicants must also be pet friendly and comfortable working in a home with pets. Excellent references are essential.

Duties include:

cleaning and maintaining all areas of the home to a high standard
vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing throughout the property
laundry, ironing and careful wardrobe management
making beds and changing bed linen
cleaning bathrooms and kitchen areas thoroughly
keeping worktops, appliances and cupboards clean and organised
organising storage areas and ensuring the home remains clutter free
caring for delicate furnishings and household items
monitoring household supplies and notifying the family when replacements are required
running occasional local errands if needed
being comfortable around household pets
maintaining a tidy, organised and welcoming environment throughout the home
