Description
Our principal is a HNW investor with an international background. His primary residence is in the US, and his secondary residence is in London. He is in London approximately 4 months per year.
We are seeking a professional Personal/Household Assistant who can support him seamlessly in regards to his administrative and logistics needs in London.
The principal is single, early 40s, highly professional and well-traveled, no kids, no pets. He is extremely pleasant and easy to work with, and is very flexible - however he is also busy, and expects steps to be taken to minimize administrative/logistical friction in day-to-day life. Payment terms are flexible and can be in cash if desired.
Duties will include:
Coordinating service visits with other staff and vendors (e.g. electrician, gas engineer, contractors)
Planning travel, accommodation, and appointment scheduling to ensure maximum efficiency
Shopping errands including groceries, bill payments, dry cleaning, deliveries, etc
Light housekeeping and organizing around the house
Making calls and phone enquiries to follow up with requests
Qualifications and Desired Qualities
You should be fully fluent in both written and spoken English
Experience as a PA or a background in hospitality / luxury retail will be considered favourably
You should be resourceful, creative, and have a solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on outcomes (as opposed to processes)
You should be prepared to work 25-30 hours per week in-person (not remote).
APPLICATION
Please submit a CV and cover letter as well as 1-2 professional references.
As an alternative to a traditional CV, you may also submit your LinkedIn profile. You must also include your email and contact number.
Instead of a typically boring cover letter, please take this opportunity to introduce yourself - we would like to get a sense of your personality and how you differ from other candidates.
Please confirm that you have the legal right to work in the UK, and that you are comfortable commuting to SW5 (nearest Tube: Earl's Court). Candidates who are local to the area will be favourably considered.
Please also state whether you have any other ongoing long-term commitments - e.g. classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, or nannying on Wednesdays, or volunteering on Fridays. This will not be a problem as we are very prepared to be flexible. We do not need you to commit to a typical 9 am to 5 pm daily schedule, however, we would like you to manage our expectations as to your availability.
We look forward to hearing from you soon!
