Private Housekeeper – Knutsford
£42,000 per annum | 40 hours per week
A private family based in Knutsford is looking for an experienced, and highly organised Housekeeper to join their household.
The role requires someone with a strong understanding of different surfaces, fabrics and materials, who is confident maintaining a high-end home to an excellent standard.
Responsibilities will include general housekeeping, regular deep cleaning, laundry and ironing, wardrobe management, care of delicate fabrics and household items, and maintaining an organised and well-presented home.
The family has children, so the successful candidate must be warm, child-friendly and comfortable stepping in to babysit occasionally when required.
This is a 40-hour-per-week position, with some flexibility required. Alternate weekend availability will form part of the rota, with two days off each week.
Previous experience working within a private household is strongly preferred, alongside excellent attention to detail, reliability, discretion and a proactive approach.
Salary: £42,000 per annum
