Construction Labourer – London

Job Summary

Reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer responsible for supporting tradespeople and site teams with general construction duties. The role involves moving materials, maintaining a clean and safe work area, assisting with deliveries and carrying out manual work as directed by the Site Manager or Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

* Load, unload and move building materials around the construction site.

* Keep the site clean, tidy and free from hazards.

* Remove rubbish, debris and construction waste and load skips.

* Mix and move concrete, mortar and other construction materials.

* Help with site setup, deliveries and storage of materials.

* Follow instructions from supervisors and complete tasks efficiently.

* Follow all site health and safety procedures and wear required PPE.

* Report hazards, damaged equipment or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.

* Work effectively as part of a team in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements

* Previous construction or labouring experience is advantageous.

* Valid CSCS Labourer Card

* Good physical fitness and ability to carry out manual handling.

* Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

* Ability to follow instructions and work well with others.

* Good awareness of health and safety. xjnqpsq

* Full PPE: hard hat, hi-vis and safety boots.
