Location: London

Salary: 45,000 - 50,000 + Benefits

A highly regarded design and build specialist, delivering premium workplace, commercial and corporate interior fit-out projects across London and the South East, is seeking an ambitious Junior Pre-Construction Manager to join its growing team.

Working on projects ranging from 500k to 20m+, this role offers the opportunity to be involved in the full pre-construction lifecycle, supporting the successful conversion of opportunities into live projects and gaining exposure to some of the UK's most prestigious workplace environments.

The Role

Reporting to senior members of the Pre-Construction team, you will assist in managing multiple tenders and negotiated opportunities from initial enquiry through to project handover.

You will work closely with estimating, commercial, design, planning and operational teams, helping to coordinate technical information, engage with subcontractors and contribute to successful bid submissions.

This position would suit an individual with some experience within the fit-out, construction, design and build or wider built environment sector who is looking to progress their career within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the management of pre-construction activities across multiple projectsAssisting with tender submissions, presentations and bid documentationCoordinating project information and ensuring documentation is accurate and up to dateLiaising with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholdersObtaining and reviewing subcontractor and supplier quotationsSupporting programme development and project planning activitiesAssisting with value engineering and risk management exercisesHelping to ensure seamless handover from pre-construction to delivery teamsAttending project meetings and site visits where requiredBuilding and maintaining effective relationships with clients and supply chain partnersCandidate Requirements

Previous experience within construction, interior fit-out, design and build, project management, quantity surveying or a related disciplineDegree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Project Management or similar preferredStrong organisational and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesCommercial awareness and strong attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to work effectively within a collaborative team environmentAmbitious, proactive and eager to develop a long-term career in pre-constructionWhat's on Offer
