Salary: 625 per day

We are seeking an experienced Interim Head of Property to lead a Property Services team for a large Housing Association based in London. This role is based in Southgate, and is crucial for overseeing the management of housing repairs, voids, and disrepair. The successful candidate will have a robust knowledge of Awabs law and a proven track record in the housing sector. This contract position will run until the end of 2026, with opportunities to apply for a permanent role.

Day–to–Day of the Role:

Oversee the delivery of property services, ensuring safety, comfort, and maximising stock availability.Manage reactive repairs services and ensure value for money from available budgets.Lead a technically qualified team, highlighting strategic asset management opportunities.Conduct pre and post inspections for responsive services and voids.Manage complex works scope, tender analysis, and contract administration for disrepair works.Oversee CDM and Health & Safety management, ensuring compliance across all operations.Handle contractor management and complaint resolution effectively.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Extensive knowledge of property legislation, regulation, and best practices.Professional qualifications and/or membership of a relevant professional body, or significant professional experience in a similar role.Demonstrated success in a senior property operational role within a similarly sized and complex organisation.Expertise in contract management and client management of multi–year contracts.Experience in managing property assets in a public–sector or regulated environment.Proven ability in building effective teams and leading professional staff.Successful management of complex, multi–million pound budgets.Strong partnership working skills at a senior level and experience with transformational change.To apply for the Interim Head of Property position, please submit your CV detailing your relevant experinece or contact Mel
