Housing Officer

Description

As a Housing Officer in Leyland, you'll manage housing services and support tenants to ensure properties are well–maintained and issues are resolved promptly. This role in the not–for–profit sector is key to keeping operations running smoothly by assisting residents and maintaining positive tenant relationships.

Description

Provide support and advice to tenants on housing–related matters.Ensure properties are maintained to a high standard by coordinating necessary repairs and maintenance.Handle tenant queries and complaints, resolving issues efficiently.Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with tenancy agreements.Manage tenant agreements, including sign–ups and terminations.Work with external agencies to provide additional support to tenants where needed.Maintain accurate records of all tenant interactions and property updates.Support team members with housing–related projects and initiatives.Profile

A successful Housing Officer should have:

Experience in housing or property management, ideally within the not–for–profit sector.Strong communication and problem–solving skills.Knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy agreements.Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.Attention to detail and good organisational skills.Job Offer
