We are recruiting on behalf of a leading national health and social care organisation to appoint an experienced Head of Property. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for shaping and delivering the organisation's property strategy across a diverse UK-wide estate.If you are a strategic, commercially astute property leader with experience managing complex, multi-site portfolios-and you thrive in a mission-led environment-this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.The Role:As Head of Property, you'll lead the strategic and operational delivery of the organisation's estate, covering: Property strategy and optimisationAcquisitions, disposals, leases, and renewalsFacilities management and complianceCapital projects, refurbishments, and estate developmentSustainability, energy efficiency, and asset performanceBudget management, forecasting, and risk control You will ensure that property assets effectively support the organisation's services, deliver value for money, and provide safe, fit-for-purpose environments for colleagues and the people they support.You will lead a property team through a Property Manager and seven direct operational staff and work closely with senior internal stakeholders including Finance, Operations, Business Development, and Legal.Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver a long-term property strategy aligned with organisational prioritiesAdvise senior leadership on estate performance, risks, and opportunitiesManage the full property lifecycle: acquisitions, leasing, renewals, and disposalsOversee facilities management, compliance, and planned/reactive maintenanceDeliver capital projects on time, on budget, and to the highest qualityDrive sustainability, energy efficiency, and cost-effectiveness across the estateManage budgets, controls, asset records, and property dataLead, coach, and develop the property team, fostering a culture of excellence About You:We're looking for an experienced property professional with: A degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Surveying, Construction, or a related disciplineProfessional membership (RICS, IWFM, CIOB or similar)A proven track record in managing complex estates and delivering capital projectsStrong financial management experience, including property budgets and forecastingExcellent negotiation skills with experience in leases and landlord/tenant managementStrong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teamsKnowledge of statutory compliance, H&S, property law, sustainability, and construction principlesExperience within health, social care, housing, or another regulated environment (advantageous) Why Apply?
