Groundworker/Telehandler Operator

Description

Teamforce Labour are currently seeking an experienced Groundworker with a CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket for an immediate start in Wimbledon, West London (SW19).

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading contractor on an ongoing construction project.

Key Responsibilities:Carrying out all aspects of groundworks, including drainage, kerbing, edging, foundations and general site works.Operating the Telehandler safely and efficiently as and when required.Loading, unloading and distributing materials around site.Preparing, excavating and levelling ground for construction works.Assisting with backfilling and reinstatement works.Working closely with site supervisors and other trades to meet programme requirements.Carrying out daily plant checks and reporting any defects.Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area.Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with site health & safety procedures.Essential RequirementsValid CSCS CardValid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticketProven experience working as a GroundworkerPrevious experience operating a Telehandler on construction sitesFull PPEGood understanding of site health & safetyReliable with a strong work ethicAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamAdditional plant tickets would be advantageous
