Contracts Manager – Civils / Groundworks

Location: Greater Manchester / North West

Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 + package

We’re working with an established North West construction contractor who are looking to bring an experienced Contracts Manager into the business.

The role would suit someone from a strong civils / groundworks background who has experience managing multiple projects and subcontractors from pre-construction through to completion.

The Role

* Managing multiple civils, groundworks and construction projects across the North West

* Overseeing Site Managers, subcontractors and site teams

* Managing programmes, budgets and project delivery

* Working closely with clients, consultants and supply chain

* Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality

* Managing commercial performance and project costs

* Attending client and progress meetings

* Supporting the pre-construction and tender process where required

* Ensuring all projects are properly planned and resourced

We’re looking for someone with:

* Previous experience working as a Contracts Manager / Senior Contracts Manager

* A strong background in civils, groundworks or general construction

* Experience managing multiple projects at the same time

* Good knowledge of construction programmes, budgets and subcontractor management

* Strong understanding of Health xjnqpsq & Safety and quality requirements

* Good client and communication skills

* A practical, hands-on approach to project delivery

* Ideally, experience working for a main contractor
