Excellent opportunity to join a Local Authority in Essex to support the delivery of their capital programme with a focus on regeneration and development. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in managing complex multi-stakeholder projects and looking to shape public-realm schemes.
Your new role
As the Capital Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing high profile development projects within the borough. These are likely to include retail and leisure projects. You will lead and coordinate projects from feasibility through to delivery and will oversee external consultants, contractors and delivery partners. As part of the role, you will produce reports for senior leaders and members and will be involved in member engagement.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role, you should be competent delivering capital projects and experience with town centre regeneration is preferred. Prior experience of managing commercial projects is required and you should be comfortable with programme and risk management. A driving licence and access to a vehicle is required for this role. You should live within commutable distance of Essex.
