Description
My name is Umair Uddin, and I have over 10 years’ experience tutoring Maths and several years of experience teaching Biology and Chemistry up to A-level. I specialise in helping students prepare for GCSE exams, including those retaking exams in November.
I graduated from the University of Southampton with an LLB in Law, hold A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, and English Literature, and have completed a Certificate of Higher Education in Biomedicine. This background allows me to teach both the scientific and analytical sides of these subjects with confidence.
I am currently offering GCSE Maths, Biology and Chemistry tuition.
My teaching approach is focused on:
1. Building confidence in students who struggle with Maths and Science.
2. Exam-focused preparation, with lots of practice and technique.
3. Helping students truly understand concepts, not just memorise them.
I have worked with students across GCSE, A-level, and entrance exams (including 11+) and pride myself on helping them reach their full potential.
Please note at present I am only offering GCSE tuition and 11+.
