Playwork Assistant

Salary: £13 – £15 per hour

Location: Puckeridge, Hertfordshire

Join our client’s wonderful team where they are dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for children aged 2 – 13 before and after school, as well as throughout the school holidays. They are currently seeking a motivated Playwork Assistant to help them deliver exceptional childcare in the heart of Puckeridge.

Overview of the Role

As a Playwork Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a vibrant and secure atmosphere where children can learn, play, and grow. Your responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments, creating staff rotas, planning engaging activities, and supervising day-to-day operations of the club.

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a childcare setting is essential.Minimum Level 2 Qualification in Childcare or Playwork.Full driving licence and ability to drive to local schools.Willingness to attend training in Safeguarding, Food Hygiene, and 12-hour Paediatric First Aid.Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals.A sense of humour that enhances the enjoyment of the children.
