Description
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced chef to head up a small kitchen team, preparing a menu of fresh traditional Scottish dishes at Kirk o'The Lochs, Restaurant & Bar. This is a busy restaurant catering for large numbers of visitors to the Tarbet /Arrochar/Loch Lomond area including large tour groups and such a hands-on approach.
The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of the following duties and responsibilities.
preparation of a variety of dishes to an agreed specification
high degree of attention to details
able to work under pressure in a busy environment
level 2/3 food hygiene qualification prefered
scheduling
recruitment, training & developing of chefs
placing orders
accepting deliveries
maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen
keeping / monitoring food hygiene records
occasional solo working
Other responsibilities will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.
