An UHNW family based in Mayfair are seeking an adaptable Female (for cultural reasons) Private Family Chef / Cook to join their household

This is a newly created role requiring a high degree of flexibility however the family are open to structuring the position around the right candidate

Based in Mayfair the Chef will be engaged by a UK contract, however the family travel globally extensively, therefore candidates should be comfortable travelling, as required. The role requires flexibility to work around the family’s schedule, with a greater level of support required when the family are in the London residence. Time off will generally be taken when the family are travelling

The successful candidate will prepare fresh, healthy and varied meals for the family, primarily for lunch and dinner, while also ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen including menu planning, grocery shopping and provisioning. The Chef should be confident preparing a variety of cuisines, with a focus on fresh Mediterranean-style cooking and healthy family meals. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive and capable of independently managing the kitchen while communicating comfortably with both the parents and two children (aged 7 and 5)

Additionally, this role will also involve assisting with the morning school run for the children. Candidates must therefore hold a full driving licence and be confident driving to school before beginning daily household duties. The family employ a housekeeper, so the wider role will focus primarily on cooking and kitchen management

Salary for this role is negotiable for the right a long-term Chef who will become a trusted part of the household

Candidates should:

• Hold a full driving licence

• Speak fluent English (additional 2nd languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, French or Arabic are highly advantageous)

• Be flexible regarding scheduling and occasional travel

• Be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check if required
