Description
It absolutely breaks my heart to write this, but due to an unexpected change in my housing situation I am having to look for a loving new home for my two cats: Mistletoe and Milo.
After my landlord increased my rent beyond what I can afford, I have had to move back into my parents’ home with my children and our cats to save up for a mortgage deposit.
Unfortunately my mum has a long-standing fear of cats after being attacked as a child. Despite trying to manage things, the situation is extremely stressful for her and the cats are not settling well in the environment with the added tension and hysteria.
Because of this, I feel they deserve a calm, stable home where they can relax and feel safe.
About them:
🐾 Mistletoe– Female (spayed) aged 5
Mistletoe is Milo’s mum. They are very used to each other’s company and Mistletoe provides Milo with confidence and comfort. Mistletoe is a cheeky character she's very protective of the others and is the one to bring the gifts home to the doorstep. She's also very affectionate and loves older children she spends most her time with my teenager.
🐾 Milo – Male (neutered) aged 2.
Milo is Mistletoe’s son. He has grown up in a family home and is used to living with the other cats however could be homes separately as the Mum can be a little short tempered with him so I feel he wouldn't mind being an only cat. Milo is like a baby! He's timid to newbies but when he lets you in you may as well just attach him to you as he loves cuddles, kisses, belly rubs being carried around etc. He's a big softy!

Used to a home environment
Ideally I would love Milo and Mistletoe to stay together, as they are Mum and Son but my main priority is that they go to safe, loving homes where they will be cared for and allowed time to settle.
This is an incredibly difficult decision and not one I have taken lightly. I love them very much, but I want what is best for them.

Milo and Mistletoe have had jabs initially as youngsters but it is advised they have boosters now. I would advise boosters are given to be safe.
