Description
Le Creuset 30cm cast iron blue lid in VGC. Rust-free. No cracks or enamel chips anywhere. Underside remarkably clean with flawless enamel. Fits any 30cm deep or shallow casserole and any 30cm frypan. Faint storage marks around lid (photo 3 - 4). Original 55mm black phenolic knob in poor condition when I bought the lid so removed it - recommend replacing with stainless steel knob that withstands 260C heat. These black phenolic knobs are notorious for disintegrating after repeated exposure to very high oven heat above 220C (see photos 5-9 for what can happen)! New Le Creuset knobs cost £21 (black phenolic) or £26 - £30 (steel - recommended). Generic steel knobs readily available for £3-£5. See my profile for other Le Creuset stuff.
