Serenova Care is currently looking for a kind, reliable and confident support worker for a 1:1 community-based support role in Wantage.

This position is supporting a lovely woman in her 50s who enjoys staying active and involved in the community. Her routine includes swimming, volunteering, outings, and day-to-day support to help maintain her independence and quality of life.

This is a calm, rewarding role suited to somebody who enjoys building genuine relationships and supporting people in a more personal and engaging way.

Hours:

- Monday, Wednesday & Friday: approximately 9:30am–4:30pm

- Two Saturdays per month: approximately 10am–6pm

The role includes:

- Community outings and appointments

- Supporting independence and daily routine

- Driving to activities and local locations

- Encouragement and companionship

- General support throughout the day

Requirements:

- Previous support work/care experience preferred

- Full UK driving licence

- Fluent English

- Reliable, patient and personable nature

- Right to work in the UK

- Must be comfortable supporting someone in the community and during activities such as swimming outings

This role would suit somebody from a support work, SEN, rehabilitation, community care or personal assistant background.
