Overview

Aurum Home Care Ltd is an established and growing care provider built on strong values of dignity, compassion, professionalism, and person-centred care. Due to continued expansion, we are opening a new branch in Glasgow and are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead and develop the service.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven care leader to take charge of a new branch, supported by an experienced senior management team with a successful background in growing quality care services.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the leadership, compliance, growth, and day-to-day operation of the Glasgow branch. You will ensure exceptional standards of care while building a strong, reliable, and motivated team.

Key Responsibilities

Register and manage the service in line with Care Inspectorate Scotland requirements
Lead and develop the branch to achieve growth and excellent service delivery
Recruit, train, supervise, and retain high-quality staff
Ensure safe, effective, and person-centred care at all times
Manage branch budgets, rotas, staffing, and performance
Oversee audits, quality assurance, incidents, complaints, and improvements
Build strong relationships with clients, families, commissioners, and professionals
Promote the business locally and support continued expansion
Essential Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ proven experience successfully running a home care company or domiciliary care branch

Strong knowledge of Scottish care regulations and compliance standards
Demonstrable success in growing a care business and managing teams
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Relevant Health & Social Care qualification (SVQ Level 4 or equivalent)
Full UK driving licence
Desirable
Experience opening a new branch or start-up service
Established knowledge of the Glasgow care market
Strong recruitment and business development skills
