Excellent engine, runs perfectly, absolutely no ticks or knocks whatsoever. Can be seen in person starting from cold and running up to temperature before removal.

Being removed from 2000 Honda Civic Aerodeck, but fits many other models from 80s, 90s and early 00s. Will also fit some Rover / MG Models from mid 90s to early 00s.

Perfect base for a cheap turbo build, I'm only selling as I already a different setup for building the rest of the car, and the funds will help with that. otherwise I would absolutely be building this engine with a manual swap myself.

Comes with free 4 speed auto gearbox which, although is the undesirable setup, runs perfectly as well. Engine ECU, Gearbox ECU, driveshafts, mounts, ancillaries, wiring looms, both manifolds, coil pack etc all included. I will give as much as I can as I will have no need for most of it anyway. Other parts such as brake system, suspension, etc may become available as my own build progresses. Engine buyer will get first refusal at these as well if interested. Not currently and not planning on selling body or interior parts.

I bought the car in Newhaven at the very south of England solely for the body as it was kept garaged almost it's entire life, only being driven occasionally as evidenced by the mileage. I drove it for over 9 hours straight, around 500 miles, to Cairnryan to bring it home, only stopping for 5 minutes here and there to stretch my legs or refuel, and the engine, gearbox in fact the whole car never missed a beat, I was actually absolutely amazed at how well it still drives given it's age. Only I had already bought the donor vehicle before this one, I would be very tempted to leave it as is as and just carry out some minor repairs and maintenance work as it is an excellent example, it still actually has the factory inner rear arches and sills, so anyone that knows classic Hondas will understand just how well this car has been looked after.

Asking £475 for the lot, open to reasonable offers, a minimum of £150 deposit will be required for removal as I want to keep it running for the buyer to see and this will ensure that you are a genuine buyer, with any remainder to be paid before or on collection. Engine removal will begin immediately upon deposit payment and will be ready to collect the next day. Cash or Bank Transfer accepted.
