With so many motorhome ranges offering lookalike layouts, often centred around twin single beds or an island double, it’s good to find a variation from the norm. Equally refreshing, here, is to find that overcab coachbuilts are not dead – and this type still has its advantages and Benimar this maker from the Iberian Peninsula produces this Remarkable 5.99m Motorhome with its Superb Layout.

Crucially, you also get a body that’s 99% wood-free in its construction and insulated to the Grade III standard, while the vehicles are NCC approved and to a full UK specification (with the habitation door on our nearside).

We also have generous Payload of approximately 640 Kgs, whilst having that plated Licence Friendly plated weight of 3,500 Kgs

And, despite this Primero’s diminutive length, you could consider using it as a four-berth on a regular basis. There are four travel seats, of course, thanks to the half-dinette-style lounge but it’s the overcab bed that really makes a difference. Here’s an instant, always-available double (which the brochure says is a mightily generous 2.05m or 6 feet 7 inches by 1.55m or 5 Feet) that comes with lighting, a roof vent and an opening window. And, when it’s occupied, you haven’t lost your lounge, so you can pop the kids up there – in their own ‘den’ – and still relax down below.

When it comes to mum and dad’s bedtime, the French bed (that’s a lengthways double alongside a wall) positioned here at the offside rear is a decent size and, again, requires no bed-making. This Bed is 1.90m (Or 6 feet 2 Inches) by 1.36m (4 feet 5 Inches) but neither the overhanging (second) wardrobe at the foot, nor the usual tapering bed width, will compromise comfort significantly.

The Shower Room is Generous in its dimensions and has the Swivel Flushing TOILET, Plenty of Storage Cabinets and the Shower has the folding Perspex Screens.

The Kitchen has a Gas Oven Grill and Hob as well as 1 Electric Hob. Plus we have a generous sink with an electric tap and a folding toughened glass lid.

Please be aware that all viewings are by pre arranged appointment only. We work from home, and do not have set opening hours unlike traditional high street showrooms. Our vehicles are spread over three sites and if you were to just turn up and we didn't know that you were coming, then there is a distinct possibility that may not be on site to see you. Don't worry if you are running late for an appointment, we just need an approximate time you are aiming to be with us.
