For sale 1960's Ercol Windsor Bookcase / Shelving Unit / Trolley / Room Divider (model 361) in 'Old Colonial' finish. A lovely looking design combined with great practicality.

This iconic piece was designed by Lucian Ercolani and manufactured in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire and is now back in fashion (keenly collected and highly regarded). Ercol furniture is synonymous with good design, quality materials and craftsmanship and is built for longevity. This is a real eye catching piece of vintage retro furniture which is no longer in production.

The bookcase has got three shelves made of solid elm which are connected by four solid beech turned tapering columns. The sides and ends of the shelves are gently curved, the corners are radiused and the edges rounded over. The bookcase is fitted with original shepherds casters, and this gives the unit great mobility.

Height of top shelf: 9.5inch (24cm)

The bookcase is in very good (original) vintage condition with some minor marks commensurate with age and use. It is free of any damage, repairs or wear to joints. It has been cleaned and waxed. Original ‘Ercol made in High Wycombe Buckinghamshire England’ label is still attached. The label states this bookcase was manufactured in 1983.
