For sale is the full Encyclopaedia Britannica from circa 1990 and includes the bespoke solid wood bookcase (made by a local carpenter) that my father had made to house it.
It was bought for me when I was at school (pre internet days!) and has had very little use.
It is available for viewing in Weston-super-Mare although I live in Bristol so would come down to meet anybody who is interested. It's in a flat on the second floor although there is a lift. Not sure if the bookcase will fit in the lift though so strong people to collect are necessary (I will help too).
Will need lots of boxes (apples boxes from the supermarket would be good) and a large car.
The approx max dimensions of the bookcase are 132cms wide x 101cms high x 32.5cms deep.
The whole lot cost a small fortune in 1990.
