Two books from a collection I have inherited:
“By The Three Great Roads – A History of Tollcross, Fountainbridge and the West Port”, Edited by Drew Easton, Published in 1988 by Aberdeen University Press for the Tollcross Local History Project, Illustrated, 177 pages
“Waters Under The Bridge – Twentieth Century Tollcross, Fountainbridge and the West Port”, Written and Compiled by Tollcross Local History Project, Published in 1990 by Aberdeen University Press, Illustrated, 240 pages
These are both fascinating books - the first looks at the wealth of life and industry in these communities, the second tells the history through the stories of people who lived in the area
They are both paperbacks, both in very good condition. All pages are intact, with no notes or marks inside
