Out of service RNLI Milburn (launched on the Holy Island of Northumberland in 1925) and converted to a motor cruiser in 1955. Now static at a quiet boatyard in Newhaven, which provides power (there is an electricity point right next to the boat), water, toilet & washing facilities as well as chandlery & expert marine engineering facilities.
The 45' boat is split into backroom, galley & stove room w. toilet/shower area separate. Original hardwood crossbeam hull. All wood above deck has been replaced w. marine ply 8 years ago. Many interesting features including wood burner and mahogany fitted cupboards.
The engine is seized, but is a Lister Petter 6 cylinder internal combustion 4 stroke engine – not working but rare in itself. They don't make them like that any more & the engine may be of interest for parts. Dimensions as follows:
backroom – 8'x6'
galley – 11'x7.5'
stove-room – 11'x10'
shower area – 7.5'x3.5'
toilet area – 4.5'x6'

After nearly twenty years of working on and maintaining this boat I have decided to find the right person to hand over this project. I am selling the boat 'as seen' – it is a hobby boat and a labour of love suitable for anyone interested in carpentry, restoration, a relaxing marina environment or being near the water.
