Description

Newbridge Navigator sailing boat - 19 foot, 4 berth with, ladder and lifting keel.

For sale: Newbridge Navigator sailing boat.
19 foot 4 berth sailing boat with tiller steering, boarding ladder and lifting keel.
She is in good condition for the year. I have owned her for over 5 years, sailed her around the Solent and she's a great boat. She's a classic yacht, ready to sail and use regularly or ready for someone who can fully restore her. Regularly used and enjoyed, but now I need to sell.
Comes with / details: good cushions, 4 berth, clean and dry inside, anchor and chain, roller reefing jib with UV strip, mainsail with slab reefing, all led to cockpit for single handed sailing, mainsail and boom cover, antifouled in August 2014, chemical toilet, VHF radio, gas hob & grill, Tohatsu 6HP outboard in a 'well', a second outboard bracket and boarding ladder fitted to transom, leisure battery with solar panel and navigation / accommodation lights, radio / cassette player, pushpit and guard rails, basic boom tent, and spinnaker pole (but no spinnaker).
Currently on the water in Fareham with mast removed (for winter).
There is an active members Navigators and Venturers club with good technical and social support. See the newbridge-nava website.
The Navigator is a stable and easy to sail boat even single handed and would make an excellent boat for a first timer. She could also be used as a trailer sailer if you have a road trailer that would suit. The lifting keel makes her ideal for exploring and for taking the mud overnight or on a mooring.
I have owned Tiki since 2009 (sixteen years). I bought her in reasonable condition and I have continued to use her and maintain her carefully. I have replaced the keel and carefully cleaned the hull - removing several years of paint to reveal a good hull which has been undercoated and then antifouled. The standing rigging was overhauled before I bought her and has been inspected regularly. I never use the sink, but there is a tap on the sink attached to a water container in the bow.
A section of rubbing strake was pushed off by another boat and this still needs to be replaced. The stanchion was also bent and could do with repairing at some point.
Buyer to collect within 7 days and CASH ON COLLECTION ONLY please. Sold as seen and its on other sites. (I was considering a boat share, so let me know if you are interested in that.) I've reduced her to £1599 ono, and I will be sorry to see her go.
Any questions please ask.
