SEN Job Share, SEN Nanny role in Cobham, KT11. A fantastic opportunity available for proactive, fun and engaging SEN professionals to support a 5-year-old little girl with a big personality, lots of energy and full of mischief! Average £39,520.00 gross per annum.

• Nearest Station: Cobham & Stoke d'Abernon Station

• Salary/Wage: £20.00 weekdays | £25.00 weekends | Average £39,520.00 gross per annum

• Driving Requirements: Yes – own car required and happy to use it for work purposes (expenses and mileage covered)

• Essential: Previous nannying and early years’ experience. Experience supporting clients with physical disabilities. Ability to adapt tasks, activities and routines to promote accessibility, inclusion and independence. Non-smoker/vaper. *Female applicants only

• Desirable: Experience supporting a client with complex needs, limb difference and prosthetic management

• Start Date: ASAP

• Days & Hours: Monday to Friday: 12.00pm–8.00pm. Weekends and school holidays: 8.30am–8.30pm (12-hour shifts). Job share role with rolling rota or set shifts available. Full and part-time positions considered

About this child/client: Alice, 5, is a bubbly, energetic and determined little girl with a loving family, including Mum, Dad and two older siblings. She loves sensory play and spending time with her family. Alice has Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS), a rare genetic condition resulting in global developmental delay, hearing impairment, reduced mobility, limb difference in her upper limbs and being pre-verbal. She requires support with all aspects of daily living.

Overview of role: This SEN Nanny role provides 1:1 support for Alice, working closely with her parents, school, medical professionals and growing multidisciplinary team (MDT). You will support Alice’s therapy goals, daily routines and development through creative, accessible activities that encourage participation and independence. Duties include school pick-up, planning engaging activities, preparing meals (pureed diet), nursery duties and light household tasks including tidying, laundry, cooking and errands.

Who this role would suit: A proactive, energetic and confident *female SEN Nanny with experience supporting children with additional or complex needs. You will enjoy working in a family home, communicate well and confidently adapt activities to meet Alice’s physical and developmental needs. A driver with your own car is essential, with mileage paid at 45p per mile while on shift.
